CMO at Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits
Iain is a brand catalyst and evangelist who is gifted at uncovering the DNA of a brand to create storylines that best connect with it’s core customers. He is currently the CMO of Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits, a leading importer and marketer that owns over 30 different wines and spirits. Iain has held key senior roles at major global companies delivering 360 ecosystem product lifestyle experiences. Most recently, he spent seven years as VP of Global Strategy & Brand Development at VF Corporation, a $12 billion business with brands including The North Face, Timberland and Vans. Prior to this, Iain spent nine years at Gallo as Vice President of Marketing, overseeing both the premium and popular portfolios during his tenure as well as Trade Marketing. He led the development and implementation of Gallo’s fine wine strategy and wine portfolio expansion, delivering triple-digit growth in Gallo’s premium wine brands. Iain began his career at Procter & Gamble where he spent 11 years in Brand Management leadership roles, in Canada, EMEA and then the U.S., where he was Global Director of Beauty Care Innovation. With the rapid pace in which marketing and communications is changing, Iain’s core gift is his ability to uncover a brand’s DNA and to develop the core storyline to connect with its customers.
